Wild Mediterranean oregano from Turkey standardized to 70% carvacrol content is used to formulate Oregano SAP.
Oregano oil extract has demonstrated antioxidative, antimicrobial, and antiviral properties. Carvacrol is one of nature’s most potent antimicrobials as it has beneficial effects against several strains of both Gram-positive and negative bacteria and several species of fungi and yeast.
Oregano oil has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. Therefore the oil can be used topically on cuts or abrasions to prevent infections, on fungal infections such as athlete’s foot as well as on the gums to assist in pain reduction.
