Additionally, vitamin C stimulates the function of leukocytes and supports natural killer cell activity. Vitamin A is important for innate cell-mediated immunity and antibody response, is crucial for the normal development of immune system Type 1 and Type 2 helper T cells, and supports the function of T cells and B cells.
