AC-11, the active ingredient in Protectagen, is a patented, water-soluble botanical extract of Cat's Claw (Uncaria tomentosa), which has been shown to uniquely support the body’s natural defenses at the molecular level to protect DNA and guard against oxidative stress.
AC-11 is standardized to contain 8% to 10% carboxyl alkyl esters, compounds responsible for 90% of its bioactivity. Unlike other preparations of Uncaria tomentosa, AC-11 is free of harmful toxic oxindole alkaloids (TOA’s).
